Your new role

You will be stepping into a project that fits with your existing skills and experience with very clear progression opportunities to stretch yourself under individual mentoring and guidance. This role will see you get involved with project financial planning/project set up, working with project and site managers to understand construction methodologies, tender management, managing subcontractors claims, managing and processing variations, final account work in terms of cost reporting and reconciliations. Client engagement, site visits and HSE are all part of this role.

Skills required

  • The role requires an applicant with commercial main contractor QS experience and a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification. 
  • Proficiency in managing project finances, ensuring alignment with budgets, and handling progress and final contract claims. 
  • Experience in Tendering Process: In-depth involvement in the tendering process, including quantifying projects and preparing tender submissions.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Your contractual knowledge is sound and you can point to relevant legislation.   
  • You are a team player and are able to add value as a team member through your individuality.
