About the role: 

  • The Senior Site Manager assumes overall accountability for the control of the site team.
  • Being a principal company representative on the construction site, the Senior Site Manager ensures safety, quality, cost, and time requirements are adhered to throughout the duration of the contract, including the maintenance period that follows.
  • This role is to specifically monitor and track the progress of civil and structural work to ensure adherence to the project timeline and budgets.
  • As a pivotal member of the delivery team, the Senior Site Manager must lead by example, providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring of team members, whilst directly and indirectly contributing towards day-to-delivery, competitive strategy, and net margin return.

You will have:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Senior or Site Manager in projects ranging from $40m+
  • Previous experience working on the installation of steel structures is essential
  • A relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required
  • A recognized certification or qualification in Carpentry, such as a National Certificate in Carpentry or an equivalent trade certification is desirable
